Double woe is me, Advertising Age has deleted all of my comments to AdAge from 1990 to the present, and it appears that is forever.

Not that any one of them would be memorable, but the fact that they are all deleted; from all of their archives forever of comments made by Daryl Orris is the ultimate punishment, or is it really the ultimate antithesis of Freedom of the Press or the American First Amendment for freedom of speech?

Gored one too many ox. At any rate I had wasted an inordinate amount of time contributing free content to an organization that that does not want controversy or opposing opinions.

So much for the search for truth or opposing opinions at AdAge. I can testify to that.

  1. More important was that AdAge did me a big favor by deleting all of my lengthy comments (because of me there are now word limits), -- the big favor was deleting them because all of the typos that made me cringe.

The spontaneity of quickly writing emotional responses and hitting the send button, made me think twice about commenting at all after I re-read what I wrote -- both for what and how I wrote, and then the horrid spelling and sentences.

So thank you AdAge for saving me a great deal of time and for making me attend to my English prose.
